JOIN THE SMOC WALK: Before the pint night, you can join SMOC's outdoor guide, Ryan McNutt, and Keep Blount Beautiful for a FREE guided nature walk on our property trails from 4-5 PM! This nature walk will spark your sense of wonder and imagination as you learn about plant species and wildlife on the trails, ask questions, take pictures and videos, and end back at the SMOC porch for our Front Porch Pint Night at 5 PM. SMOC will have one-day-only specials announced at the event Keep Blount Beautiful will be onsite engaging with guests Weenies will be onsite selling hot dogs & chips for $5 Live music will be playing on the SMOC porch with guest artist, Sam Crowe This is a family-friendly event and we hope you will join us in supporting our local environment with the community! Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 13th for a fun evening of shopping and sipping on $5 pints in support of Keep Blount Beautiful. Thank you to the Tennessee Valley Authority for sponsoring the BCGAC and their continued support of a clean Blount County. This event is in celebration of the Blount County Great American Cleanup (BCGAC), an initiative that encourages residents to take action to improve and beautify their community. Please re-register even if you registered for the May date. NOTE: This event was originally scheduled on May 6th but has been rescheduled due to rain. Volunteers are encouraged to register for this event to receive reminders and updates. Lunch will be provided after the cleanup. Volunteers are advised to wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers will then pick up litter on designated Louisville streets, parks, and waterways.
